Travel: Singapore II

am

My Loves,

When it comes to fitness I am trying to stay fit on my travels. Which is not easy because of the crazy work challenges and evrything is not easy to plan. In Sinagpore it came different.

In the first week I had the opportunity to visit a Fitness First in Singapore which was part of the Hotel Deal I had here. It was nice, had some spinning classes and yoga classes but never felt very happy about it. A friend of mine sent me one day a text with the announcement of the first Fitness Fest in Singapore and one of the main attractions was POP Pilates Founder and Youtube Star Cassey Ho. Also at the festival you had different tents (or yoga, spinning, cross fit, boxing) and food areas with juices, bowls, vegetarian food, etc. This was my opportunity to dive deep into SG’s fit world 🙂

It was freaking hot! We had 40°C on that Day. But it was an amazing day. I met two beautiful girls which where my workout buddies for the day and also became good friend for the time I was in SG. Fitness connects! And you have immediatly someone with the same interests. With over 2000 other girls (and some guys) we worked out! We tried Cassy Ho’s workout #poppilates (quite hard when you don’t stopp it, like you can do it with her youtube videos), did pilates and ballet.

We met the girls from Busywomensproject which is a great platform for working women connect with others #teambusywomen

We had a great Bowl from Coocaça and just felt great, sweaty…but great 🙂 We did yoga with over 100 of girls, which was for a newby like me the turning point in yoga pratice. I was always very competitive in fitness, but this experience showed me that we are stronger together and every girl has a weakness but together it doesn’t matter, because we complement each other.

When everyone is telling you, you are crazy to do someting like this, in a city you should better do sightseeing is just completely wrong. Touristic stuff is fine, but to meet people and get a glimpse of a lifestyle which is at the other side of the world is so much more worth, then a Hop-On Hop-Off Tour 😀
